Born in Bangkok, Thailand and raised in New Delhi, India, Lauren typifies the ultimate international adventurer.  She brings a unique perspective to Chic Ceylon's digital media portfolio.

Along with being an international author of children's books, Lauren is a wife and mother of three. She is the proud product of a a mixed race, multiethnic family. Her expertise regarding physical wellness, derives from her experience as a former competitive athlete. 

Lauren has lived on 4 continents and continually celebrates the constructive power of diversity.  While pursuing her graduate degrees at Columbia University in New York City, she dedicated significant time to researching the very relevant concepts of micro and macro aggression; an area many of us are deeply passionate about.  As a natural result, Lauren is a strong advocate for all things pertaining to Cross-Cultural Awareness, Social-Emotional Wellness, Woman's Rights and Youth Education.
